Brief profile of the Bank:
First Security Bank was incorporated on 29th August, 1999 as a Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1994 to carry on banking business. It obtained permission from Bangladesh Bank on 22nd September, 1999 to operate banking operation and the first Branch of the Bank was opened on 25th October, 1999, at 23 Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka-1000.
The Bank added one new Branch to its network, raising the total number of Branches during 2003 to 11.
The Bank has been operating what is called First Security Bank Ready Cash Card under an agreement with American International (BD) Ltd. By using this card the customers are able to deposit/withdraw money from any Branch of the Bank and also from some selected Branches of Janata Bank. The cardholders can pay telephone, water, electricity, and gas bills and use it to make purchases from 300 selected retail shops.
First Security Bank keeps on discharging its social responsibilities for the greater interest of the society. The Bank has always extended its support towards promotion of sports, culture, educational programme, disaster relief and assistance for treatment of the poor people.
