United Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL), a first generation private sector bank in Bangladesh was incorporated in the year 1983 under the Companies Act, 1913. Sponsored by reputed entrepreneurs of the country UCBL commenced its operation immediately after incorporation with due permission from Bangladesh Bank.
